One of the great blessings and curses of my life is that I have NEVER fit in. From the first day of pre-school I was bullied relentlessly. Pushed, teased, tricked, used, and on one especially terrible occasion, hit in the face with a kickball. The damage done was deep and cost me years of happiness. However, not being a part of cliques saved me from a lifetime of hierarchical bullshit. When other kids were busy trying to fit in with each other, I was busy investing in myself. As a result, I grew up to be way more successful, happy, and healthy that the majority of my peers. So here is the truth about cliques as I see them and which ones are worth joining and how to join them without losing your soul. Enjoy!
